About us

High precision, deep drawn parts, plus punched and bent parts for…

the automobile, construction, electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics industries are just some of the products manufactured by Sixt GmbH in Magstadt, near Stuttgart, Germany. Founded more than 65 years ago, the family-run company – its expertise now passed down to the third generation – also has its own in-house tool shop. This is equipped with all the necessary equipment for the manufacture of punching, bending, progressive die stamping, deep drawing, transfer pressing and multiple-die pressing tools. The assembly of parts into subassemblies and systems, and the deburring and washing of parts, round off our portfolio of products and services. In collaboration with reliable, long term partners, we are also able to offer virtually all types of surface treatments.

Since its founding in 1952…

Sixt has grown, under the directorship of Dietmar Sixt, to a company with a workforce of more than 100 and a production area covering over 7000 m². Dietmar Sixt was just 21 years old when he took over the running of his father’s company. Since then, his leadership, expertise and commitment, along with the support of a good team, have enabled the business to evolve from a small workshop to a globally operating company. By implementing sustainable, resource-efficient and, wherever possible, environmentally compatible business practices, the company aims to safeguard the site for future generations.

A strong customer focus and relationships based on partnership with our suppliers are the guiding principles of our corporate policy. The company has held ISO 9001 certification since 1998. This was supplemented in 2010 with ISO/TS16949 certification. In the vehicle OEM and repair sectors, Sixt components and subassemblies are internationally renowned brand products used by virtually all leading vehicle manufacturers. The founding of the subsidiary company (Sixt Umformtechnik s.r.o.) in Jihlava in the Czech Republic in 1999 has enabled Sixt to add a further mainstay to its operations. The advantages offered by both business locations have been optimally developed to the benefit of the customer.

Training the next generation…

is a key priority for us. With a training quota of over 9 %, we are nurturing the next generation of skilled workers for both the technical and commercial sides of the business.

Where environmental and energy management are concerned…

our activities continue apace. Woodchips are used as fuel for the heating system at our site. A photovoltaic system produces enough power to meet up to 70 % of our electricity needs. Our heat recovery plant takes waste heat from the machines and compressors, and uses it for our underfloor heating and hot water systems.
